Emergency Border Control Resolution

This resolution sets the federal government's budget plan for 2025 and gives spending guidelines through 2034. It tells several House committees to write laws by February 27, 2025, that will change how much the government spends and allow it to borrow more money. The resolution says the government should spend no more than $6.057 trillion this year and return spending to pre-COVID levels while protecting Social Security and Medicare.
