Directing the President, pursuant to section 5(c) of the War Powers Resolution, to remove United States Armed Forces from hostilities with Iran.

This resolution tells the President to pull U.S. military forces out of any fighting against Iran unless Congress has officially declared war or passed a specific authorization to use military force against Iran. There is an exception for situations where U.S. forces are needed to defend the United States, an ally, or a partner from an immediate attack, but in those cases the President must follow certain rules under the War Powers Resolution. Those rules generally require the President to withdraw forces within 60 days unless Congress gives approval to continue.
