This resolution says that Congress supports making sure military members and American citizens living overseas can vote without unnecessary difficulties, as already required by federal law. It asks states and territories to make sure they handle and count absentee ballots from these voters on time. It also asks the Department of Justice to keep watch over whether states are following the law and to take action if they are not.
