Providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Environmental Protection Agency relating to "Phasedown of Hydrofluorocarbons: Management of Certain Hydrofluorocarbons and Substitutes Under the American Innovation and Manufacturing Act of 2020".

This joint resolution would cancel an Environmental Protection Agency rule from October 2024 that set up a program to reduce emissions of hydrofluorocarbons, which are a type of greenhouse gas. That rule also created new standards for how certain used refrigerants are handled when they are recycled for reuse. If passed, this resolution would get rid of those requirements.
