Providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Environmental Protection Agency relating to "National Primary Drinking Water Regulations for Lead and Copper: Improvements (LCRI)".

This joint resolution would cancel a rule from the Environmental Protection Agency that was submitted on October 30, 2024. That rule was designed to further reduce lead in drinking water and would have required water systems to replace all lead and certain older pipes they control within 10 years. If this resolution passes, that rule would no longer be in effect.
