Providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Environmental Protection Agency relating to "Updates to New Chemicals Regulations Under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA)".

This joint resolution would cancel an Environmental Protection Agency rule about new chemicals that was published on December 18, 2024. The rule changed procedures for new chemicals and made certain chemicals called PFAS and other persistent, bioaccumulative, and toxic chemicals unable to qualify for some exemptions under the Toxic Substance Control Act.
