Love Lives On Act of 2025

This bill changes rules for surviving spouses of military members and veterans who remarry. Currently, remarriage can cause surviving spouses to lose certain benefits like dependency and indemnity compensation, special pensions, and annuity payments under the Survivor Benefit Plan. The bill would allow these surviving spouses to keep receiving these benefits even after remarrying. It also expands TRICARE health coverage to include remarried widows and widowers whose new marriage has ended.
