Emergency Conservation Program Improvement Act of 2025

This bill changes two government programs that help farmers and forest owners after natural disasters. It lets more people get money from these programs and makes it easier to get advance payments before doing the repair work. Farmers can now get advance payments for fixing farmland and farm structures, receiving up to 75% of replacement costs and 50% of repair costs upfront instead of the current 25% limit for fencing only. The bill also covers damage from human-caused wildfires if the damage spreads due to natural causes, and allows private forest owners to get advance payments of up to 75% of emergency repair costs.
