To authorize the Secretary of the Army to convey to the State of North Carolina a certain parcel of real property located at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, on which the State shall construct a veterans’ State home, and for other purposes.

This bill allows the Army to give a 20-acre piece of land at Fort Bragg in North Carolina to the state at no cost. The state would use the land to build a home for veterans who are unable to work because of age, disease, or other disabilities, including veterans who need nursing home care. North Carolina would have to pay for all the costs of transferring the land. If the state stops using the property for a veterans' home, the land can be taken back by the federal government.
