Safe Passage on Interstates Act of 2025

This bill creates a new federal crime for blocking interstate highways. It would be illegal to knowingly delay traffic, stand near or approach moving cars, or endanger safe driving on interstate highways if done with the intent to obstruct normal highway use. People who violate this law could face criminal penalties. The bill includes an exception for activities that are legal and conducted or approved by federal, state, or local governments.
