Stopping Overdoses of Fentanyl Analogues Act

This bill makes fentanyl-related substances permanently illegal under the strictest drug category. Right now, these substances are temporarily banned through an order that expires on March 31, 2025. The bill would make this ban permanent by adding these substances to schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act, which is for drugs considered to have high abuse potential and no accepted medical use.
