Protect Our Letter Carriers Act of 2025

This bill requires the Department of Justice to assign a special prosecutor in each court district to handle crimes against postal workers and postal property, like assaults on mail carriers or break-ins at post offices. It also requires that courts treat attacks on postal workers the same as attacks on police officers when deciding punishments. The bill provides money for the Postal Service to install more secure mailboxes and replace old mailbox keys with electronic ones.
