TEAM Veteran Caregivers Act

This bill changes how the Department of Veterans Affairs handles its caregiver programs for veterans. It requires the VA to officially list a veteran's caregiver in their health record and to send clear, standardized notices to veterans and their caregivers whenever decisions are made about their caregiver benefits, including changes to eligibility or reductions in support. The bill also requires the VA to keep caregiver benefits going for at least 90 days after a veteran is told they no longer qualify for the Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers, except in certain situations like fraud, abuse, neglect, or if a new caregiver is assigned.
