Restoring Military Focus Act

This bill removes the Chief Diversity Officer position from the Department of Defense and removes Senior Advisor for Diversity and Inclusion positions from military departments. The bill also stops federal money from being used to create similar diversity and inclusion positions within the Department of Defense. President Trump signed executive orders in January 2025 that ended federal diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility programs and specifically abolished diversity, equity and inclusion offices within the Department of Defense and Coast Guard.
