Scientific Integrity Act

This bill requires federal agencies that fund or do scientific research to create and follow scientific integrity policies. These policies must make sure that scientific conclusions are based on science, not politics, and that research findings cannot be hidden or changed. The policies must also let researchers share their findings with other scientists. Agencies have to get their policies approved by the Office of Science and Technology Policy, make them public, and send them to Congress. Each agency must also hire a Scientific Integrity Officer, create a way to resolve disputes, and train their employees on these rules.
