Protecting Veteran Access to Telemedicine Services Act of 2025

This bill allows certain Department of Veterans Affairs doctors and other health care workers to permanently prescribe controlled substances to veterans through telemedicine without requiring an in-person visit first. The health care professionals must have proper licenses and be prescribing the medications for legitimate medical reasons as part of their normal practice. The bill only applies to veterans who are eligible for VA health care.
