Diagnostics Testing Preparedness Plan Act of 2025

This bill requires the Department of Health and Human Services to create a plan for quickly developing and distributing diagnostic tests during health emergencies. The plan must cover responses to chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear threats, including new infectious diseases that could cause a public health emergency. The department must work with government agencies and private companies like device manufacturers to create and carry out the plan. The plan must consider factors like how many tests the country can make, new testing technologies, and medical supply needs. The department must publish the plan within one year and update it every three years.
