Recovery of Stolen Checks Act

This bill requires the Treasury Department to create a system that lets taxpayers choose to get their replacement tax refund through direct deposit instead of a paper check. Right now, when a taxpayer's refund check gets lost or stolen, they usually get another paper check as a replacement. This bill would give them the option to get the replacement money deposited directly into their bank account instead.
