Medicaid Primary Care Improvement Act

This bill allows state Medicaid programs to pay for primary care through direct primary care arrangements, where doctors get a fixed monthly fee instead of being paid per visit. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services must hold meetings with stakeholders, provide guidance to states on how to set up these arrangements, and create a report about how well these arrangements work in terms of quality and cost.
