Clock Hour Program Student Protection Act

This bill makes a rule called the "150% rule" part of federal law. The rule lets job training programs keep getting federal student aid money if their programs are no more than 150% as long as the minimum hours their state requires for a license. The Department of Education used to enforce this rule through regulations, but they proposed a new rule that would have limited these programs to only 100% of the state's minimum required hours. A court has temporarily stopped that new rule from going into effect.
