PREEMIE Reauthorization Act of 2025

This bill continues funding through 2029 for government programs that study and work to prevent babies being born too early (before 37 weeks of pregnancy). The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will keep doing research and tracking data about early births. The Department of Health and Human Services must create a group of different government agencies to work together on preventing early births and infant deaths. The bill also requires a study by the National Academies to look at early births in the United States, including how much they cost and ways to reduce them.
