Doctors in our Borders Act

This bill increases the number of Conrad 30 waivers available each year from 30 to 100. People with J-1 visas, including foreign doctors who received medical training in the United States, normally must leave the country for two years after their program ends. The Conrad 30 waiver program lets eligible foreign medical graduates skip this requirement if they agree to practice medicine in areas or with populations that don't have enough doctors.
