Improving Science in Chemical Assessments Act

This bill changes how the Environmental Protection Agency does chemical safety assessments. Instead of having one EPA program handle chemical hazard identification and dose response assessments, the appropriate EPA program office for each chemical would do the work. The bill also requires EPA to create a steering committee to make sure different EPA offices don't duplicate each other's work on these assessments.
