Long-Term Care Transparency Act

The Long-Term Care Transparency Act would require the Administration on Aging to give Congress a yearly report. This report would combine and summarize the annual reports that state long-term care ombudsman offices send to the administration. These state offices investigate complaints from people living in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and other adult care homes, and they already have to send yearly reports about problems and conditions in these facilities to the administration.
