Coin Metal Modification Authorization and Cost Savings Act of 2025

This bill would let the U.S. Mint change what metals are used to make coins if a study shows it would save taxpayer money. Any new coins would have to be the same size and weight as current coins and work in existing coin machines. The Mint would have to tell Congress before making changes, and Congress could block the changes if they disagree.
