LPOE Modernization Trust Fund Act

This bill creates a special fund called the Land Port of Entry Modernization Trust Fund to pay for improvements at places where people cross from other countries into the United States by land. The fund gets money from customs fees and new surcharges on immigration and border inspection services. The money can be used to build new border crossing facilities, improve existing ones, buy inspection technology, and hire more border patrol staff. The bill also creates a board to oversee how this money is spent.
