Protecting America’s Seniors’ Access to Care Act

This bill would stop a government rule from taking effect that was issued in May 2024. The rule would require nursing homes that receive Medicare and Medicaid funding to have a nurse on-site 24 hours a day and provide at least 3.48 hours of nursing care per resident each day. The rule would also require states to report information about how much they pay direct care workers and support staff at these facilities.
