Rio San José and Rio Jemez Water Settlements Act of 2025

This bill settles water rights disputes in New Mexico involving four Native American pueblos. It officially recognizes agreements that give the Pueblos of Acoma and Laguna specific water rights in the Rio San José Stream System, and gives the Pueblos of Jemez and Zia specific water rights in the Jemez River Stream System. The bill creates and funds separate trust funds for each pueblo to support these water settlements, and specifies what water rights claims the pueblos and the United States are giving up as part of these agreements.
