Teacher and School Leader Quality Partnership Grants Act

This bill renews funding through 2031 for a program that gives grants to improve teacher quality and training. The bill expands the program to also include training for principals and other school leaders. It requires partnerships between schools, education agencies, and colleges to use proven methods and follow evaluation plans with clear goals. The bill also allows grants for professional development programs for teachers who stay in classrooms but also take on leadership roles, and creates an advisory committee to study best practices for training teachers and school leaders.
