Protecting our Communities from Sexual Predators Act

This bill requires the Department of Justice to detain certain non-U.S. nationals who have been arrested for sexual assault. It applies to people who are in the U.S. unlawfully, made false statements, or didn't have proper documents when trying to enter the country, and who have been charged with, arrested for, convicted of, or admit to sexual assault. The bill also makes convictions for certain sexual assault crimes grounds for preventing someone from entering the United States and for deportation.
