Venezuelan Adjustment Act

This bill would allow certain people from Venezuela to become permanent residents of the United States. To qualify, they must have entered the U.S. by December 31, 2021, lived here continuously for at least one year, and apply within three years of the bill becoming law. Spouses and children of qualifying people would also be eligible. People who apply under this bill could get work permits while their applications are being reviewed and generally could not be deported until their applications are decided.
