Promoting American Patriotism In Our Schools Act

This bill requires public schools that get federal funding to have students, teachers, and staff say the Pledge of Allegiance every school day, though people can skip it for religious or personal reasons. Schools must also display the American flag in every classroom and gym, and teach students about the flag's history and meaning in their civics or history classes. School districts must certify each year that they are following these rules, and the Department of Education can take action against districts that don't comply.
