Susan Muffley Act of 2025

This bill would restore full monthly pension benefits for certain people whose pension plans were sponsored by Delphi Corporation and ended when General Motors went bankrupt in 2009. The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation would have to recalculate these people's monthly benefit payments and also look back at payments already made to see if people should get more money. The bill creates a fund to pay for these benefits and includes rules about how any lump-sum payments would be taxed.
