Black History Matters Act

This bill tells the National Museum of African American History and Culture to study how Black history is taught in public elementary and high schools. The study must find out which states and school districts require Black history classes and which ones don't. It also must look at how well schools are teaching Black history and check what materials they use to teach students about this subject. The museum will write a report about what it finds.
