America First Energy Act

This bill sets new rules for who can work at the Foundation for Energy Security and Innovation, which is part of the Department of Energy and helps develop new energy technologies. The bill requires that board members, the executive director, officers, and employees must be U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, refugees, or people with permanent residence status. The bill also requires people applying for research awards from the foundation to tell the foundation about all other research funding they currently have or expect to get.
