Secure Rural Schools Reauthorization Act of 2025

This bill extends a program that makes payments to states and counties that have federal land within their borders. The payments would continue through 2026, including payments for 2024 and 2025. Counties would be able to use these funds for projects through 2028, and advisory committees would also have authority to propose projects through 2028.
