CURD Act

This bill creates a legal definition for "natural cheese." Under the new definition, natural cheese must be made from animal milk or certain dairy ingredients and follow standard cheese-making methods. The definition does not include processed cheeses, cheese foods, or cheese spreads. If a food product doesn't meet this definition, it cannot be labeled or sold using the term "natural cheese" to describe what type of cheese it is.
