Lung Cancer Screening and Prevention Act of 2025

This bill would let Medicare pay for more types of lung cancer screening tests. Right now, Medicare only covers lung cancer screening tests if a government task force recommends them. Under this bill, Medicare would also cover any lung cancer screening test that gets approved by the Food and Drug Administration, even if the task force doesn't recommend it. The government agency that runs Medicare would decide how much to pay for these tests.
