Kids’ Access to Primary Care Act of 2025

This bill changes how much Medicaid pays doctors for primary care services. It sets a minimum payment amount based on what Medicare pays for the same services. The new payment rules would apply to more types of doctors, including obstetricians. The bill also requires a government study to count how many children are on Medicaid, how many doctors provide primary care services, and what payment rates are before and after these changes take effect.
