PURE Water Act

This bill creates a new tax credit for people who buy water filters for their homes. People can get back 20% of what they spend on a water filter for their main home, or 10% for a second home. The credit is capped at $2,500 per year, but any extra amount can be used the next year. To qualify, the water filter must remove at least 90% of lead, PFAS chemicals, and PFOA from drinking water.
