Agricultural and Forestry Hauling Efficiency Act

This bill would let Virginia give special permits to certain farm and forestry trucks so they can weigh up to 90,000 pounds when driving on interstate highways in Virginia. These trucks must be carrying things like unprocessed crops for food or feed, or raw forest materials like logs and wood chips. Right now, trucks on interstate highways can only weigh up to 80,000 pounds, but Virginia already allows these heavier agricultural trucks on its other highways that aren't part of the interstate system.
