DEFUND Act of 2025

This bill would end U.S. membership in the United Nations and all related organizations. It would stop all U.S. funding to any U.N. body and prohibit U.S. participation in U.N. peacekeeping operations. The bill would also remove diplomatic immunity from U.N. officials and employees of foreign government missions to the U.N. If the U.S. wanted to rejoin the U.N. in the future, the Senate would have to approve it, and any rejoining agreement must include the right for the U.S. to withdraw again.
