Wireless Broadband Competition and Efficient Deployment Act

This bill would exempt certain wireless communication projects from federal environmental and historic preservation review requirements. The exemption applies to projects that install new wireless facilities on existing structures or modify existing wireless facilities, as long as they need permits from the Federal Communications Commission. Under this bill, these wireless projects would not be considered major federal actions under environmental law or subject to historic preservation review requirements.
