CLEAN Elections Act

This bill requires states to draw their congressional district maps using independent, nonpartisan commissions instead of allowing politicians or political parties to control the process, starting with the 2020 census. It also says that states cannot receive federal money for running elections unless they confirm that they use the same kind of independent commission to draw their state legislative districts as well.
