CLEAN Public Service Act

This bill would stop Members of Congress from earning retirement benefits through the Civil Service Retirement System or Federal Employees Retirement System after the bill becomes law. It would also stop the government from contributing money to these retirement funds for Members of Congress or taking retirement deductions from their paychecks. Members of Congress could still participate in the Thrift Savings Plan, which is a different retirement program.
