To amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to expand practitioners eligible to furnish telehealth services under the Medicare program.

This bill makes a permanent rule that allows certain healthcare workers to provide telehealth services through Medicare. The healthcare workers include audiologists who help with hearing problems, physical therapists who help with movement and pain, occupational therapists who help people do daily activities, and speech-language pathologists who help with speaking and swallowing problems. These professionals can now provide their services remotely through video calls or other technology as part of Medicare coverage forever.
