Uranium for Energy Independence Act of 2025

This bill puts uranium back on the official list of critical minerals. The U.S. Geological Survey created this list in 2018 that included uranium, which contains minerals important for the economy and national security that could have supply problems. In 2022, uranium was removed from the list. This bill adds uranium back to the list and requires it to be treated as if it was always on the list.
