Finish the Wall Act

This bill requires the Department of Homeland Security to restart building a barrier system along the U.S.-Mexico border. The department must resume all construction activities that were planned or happening before January 20, 2021, and spend all money set aside for this project since October 2016. The department cannot cancel contracts for this construction that were made on or before January 20, 2021. The bill also requires that within 14 days, the department must tell Congress that border facilities that process detained adults follow certain laws about collecting DNA samples from non-U.S. persons.
