DIGITAL Applications Act

This bill requires the Department of the Interior and the Forest Service to each create a website where people can submit and manage requests to place or change communications equipment, like transmitters or cell towers, on public lands or national forest land. These websites would handle applications for things like easements, leases, or other permissions needed to build or modify these facilities. Once the websites are set up, both agencies must notify the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) within three business days, and the NTIA must then add links to those websites on its own site.
