Community Reclamation Partnerships Act of 2025

This bill changes a program that fixes land and water damaged by old coal mines that were abandoned before 1977. Until September 2032, states can work with federal or state agencies to clean up water drainage problems from these abandoned mines. The bill also lets states partner with community volunteers to fix abandoned mine land, as long as the volunteers didn't help create the damage and don't have violations of coal mining permits.
